Miki Island is a multi-player virtual game that simulates business challenges teams face in the workplace.
Participants will play one of the five roles in the team and navigate through the island jungle to the rescue point within 60 minutes to survive, or it’s game over.
Every move and decision the team makes in the game, from managing resources to overcoming obstacles and a changing landscape, is translated into behavioral data and analyzed for team learning.
With just 60 minutes to reach the island’s rescue point, will the team make decisions together, or will it turn into a one-person show?
The team must learn to trust and cooperate with one another to successfully escape the island before it’s too late.
With the island’s ever-changing landscape, the team must adjust their survival strategies and tactics to reach the rescue point as quickly as possible.
The team can choose to pause the game to reflect. Each time they do, the game provides guiding questions to help them make clearer, more strategic decisions when they return to play.
Participants are introduced to the Miki Island gameplay to understand the plot, rules, and objectives of the game. Once they’re all set, it’s time for a fun, engaging, and collaborative team-building experience!
The best learning comes from evaluated experience. The team reflects on the choices they made in the game and looks at behavioral data and game analogies to evaluate the team's performance.
Participants must understand what a high-performing team is before they can become one. So the team learns about agile thinking and the characteristics of high-performing teams to apply at work.
We go from the virtual to the real world. The team addresses challenges back in the workplace and resolves them using their newly acquired knowledge.
We create a customized action plan to help the team practice their learnings on the job and make them part of their business as usual.
